Lost – a Miro ?

Police are investigating the missing Joan Miro painting which went missing around a year ago in Palma from Gaudi Collection. They think the painting was probably mislaid! following an investigation the Pilar and Joan Miro foundation, where the paintining was on-show before it disappeared!

They concluded that there was no record or indication of a forced entry. It is a little suspicious perhaps that the alarm was not raised early the painting was missing. Sadly or conveniently the CCTV system does not retain a record on film going back to when it was likely removed? Elvira Camara, director of the Pilar and Joan Miro Foundation, resigned following the discovery the double sided painting, valued at around 450.000 euros, was no longer there. Suggest they check in the local schools – It could well be hiding on the art board.
