Stone jewels – Respect for history
For centuries the walls of Mallorca’s stately homes were constructed using stone, a tradition that is still maintained today in many newly-built rural houses, preserving that beautiful rustic Mallorcan style.
This 16th century property stands in the mountains of the Serra de la Tramuntana, very near to Pollença. The villa was extended within its 12,000 square-metre plot in the late 17th century. In 2008 it was modernized, with scrupulous respect for the original architecture. Behind its stone walls steeped in history lie five bedrooms and five bathrooms. One remarkable feature of the outside is a terrace with surface area of 130 square-metres along with a well, swimming pool and car parking area.
