Pre-Christmas in Palma de Mallorca
On Friday 29th November at 7.30 pm, the yearly ritual of switching on Palma’s Christmas illuminations takes place. One single action and the lights will switch on. Just electric bulbs in their decorative shapes shining forth their brilliant light will lead us to a magical world. For children this event every year is a very special moment. Adult’s and children’s eyes will glow like the Christmas lights and young and old will be pleasantly anticipating the celebration of the year. This wonderful moment we reunite our loved ones to celebrate with us. From the first weekend of December, Christmas markets are set up in Palma’s plazas and worth a visit, whether to buy presents for your family and friends or just for a walk through the city.
